I came across this piece in an older house in Nova Scotia.  I know for sure that the lower counter surface was for kneading dough, and the upper left capinet has a built in device for sifting flour.  What I am not sure about is the bottom right drawer which has a metal box with holes in the top.
Is there a specific name for this piece other then "Bakers Table"?  Any guesses at age, when they were popular etc...?
